Brian KellettBrian is a senior associate attorney and an experienced litigator. Though he handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters and trials, he specializes in adverse possession, timber trespass, municipal issues, and other real estate and land use disputes. Brian enjoys serving clients amicably yet aggressively throughout the Puget Sound region.

A graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School, Brian earned a Certificate of Environmental Law while also competing at national competitions as part of Lewis and Clark’s animal law moot court team. During his final year of law school, Brian gained valuable experience working for Earthrise Law Center on environmental and animal disputes across the country. While in undergrad at the University of Washington, he earned two degrees in four years: a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law, Society, and Justice and another Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.

Before joining DFPB in 2021, Brian garnered valuable client experience working on international compliance and intellectual property issues with Fortune 500 companies and global law firms alike. He also served as a volunteer attorney for multiple environmental groups around Puget Sound assisting in city planning, water rights, and zoning issues.

When he is not practicing law, Brian enjoys writing novels, cooking, reading up on astrophysics, and working in the yard with his wife. He also collects minerals, atomic elements, and fossils.
