He began his legal career as a full-time paralegal from 2010 to 2017 while also working as a Rule 6 Legal Intern. He passed the bar in 2017, transitioning into his role as an attorney.

In addition to his work at Baker Sterchi, Salim volunteers with the King County Neighborhood Legal Clinic-Downtown, offering his legal experience to support the community. Outside of his professional life, he is an avid Seattle Sounders and New York Knicks fan, and enjoys exploring all of the culture and natural beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
