Attorney Matt Wand

Matt WandMatt was born and raised in East Multnomah County in the Gresham area where he lives and has raised his family. His wife of more than twenty-five years is Anne Wand and they have three children together.

He is a graduate of Portland State University in 1997 with a degree in Political Science and minor in Philosophy. Law school followed at Lewis & Clark Law School where he graduated in the top quarter of his class and was an editor of the Law Review. He graduated in 2000 and passed the Oregon State Bar exam at the age of 24.

From 2000 until 2007, he worked in downtown Portland focusing on construction, real estate, business transactions and litigation. This focus continued when he founded his law firm in Gresham. This firm grew into Wand Maddoux Preston LLC in 2009, where he worked until 2014 continuing his focus on business, construction, real estate development and litigation.

In 2014, Yoshida’s Inc. hired him as General Counsel to represent its business interests including foods manufacturing, real estate development and management, finance, and various equity investments in private and publicly-traded companies. He currently serves on the board of directors for Provenance Chain Network, Inc.

Throughout his career, he has volunteered on local boards and non-profit organizations including appointed and elected positions with local governments. This has included an online charter school non-profit, religious organizations, business trade organizations, and fraternal organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Portland.
